Year(s): 2001-2006 Time: Less than 15 hours Media: Graphite Pencil and shaders ______________________________________________ Oppidum Antiquum Agarthae, or the the Latin for Ancient Town of Agartha, is inspired after the legendary world of Agartha mentioned in a number of ancient texts, or orally passed through generations. Agartha is found in the Epic of Gilgamesh - the oldest ancient text discovered, and is known around the world by different names: Hindus call it Aryavartha, the Chinese known it as Hsi Tien, the Russian Old Believers named it Belovodye, and the Kirghiz people dubbed it Janaidar.
